History at Sandown

Ancient Civilisations

Year 5 have been learning all about the Ancient Egyptians. Following their learning on Ancient Egyptian culture the children became immersed in a day crafting and cooking, inspired by their newly found knowledge.

 Roman Workshops

Year 4 had an amazing day working with George from the 'History Project'.  They topped up their knowledge focusing on aspects of Roman life and battle. 

Roman Day

 Year 2 visit Deal Castle

A wonderful day was spent exploring the Castle learning all about the Tudors and King Henry VIII who had such a big impact on our local area.
